What is Islam?: Islam is the world's second largest religion, and the fastest growing religion out of all the five major religions. It is expected to overtake christianity around 2070. The religion of Islam follows the holy Quran, revealed to Prophet Muhammed (SAW) to him through Jibril (or Angel Gabriel). Despite being different religions, Muslims believe that all People of the Book (Christians and Jews) share the same God (which Muslims call Allah translating to God) and that they had all at one point received true revelation before it was corrupted by later people. Prophet Muhammed (SAW) was sent as the last messenger to mankind, being the seal to all prophets, and with him was the final revelation of the Quran, which has remained unchanged to this day.
